Lautner House

A John Lautner–designed residence, built in 1961 and recognized as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument. Set into the hillside in stone, glass and concrete, the home is a study in organic architecture, and in MODAA's care for it, from structure through finish.

MODAA’s work on the Lautner House respects the architect’s original vision while bringing systems, materials and craftsmanship to a contemporary standard, preserving the dialogue between the house, the rock it grows from, and the city below.
